The following steps will take you through the process of a Double Bun with Ponytail using Hare Do.
Mist the hair with water, apply more to the ends.
Comb the hair smooth.
Tips:
When first practicing bobby pins help eliminate droops and sags along the sides.
Always pin layers and flyaway hair.
Extend the Hare Do lengthwise and slide the excess fabric (equally) to both ends forming rosettes.
Section the 1st portion of your hair straight across 1" above the top of both ears, secure with a hair clip.
Section a 2nd portion of hair straight across the top of both ears and roll the 1st Bun (see Bun Instructions).
Release and drop the 1st portion (ponytail) on top of your rolled hair.
Wrap both ends of the Hare Do around pontail securing the ends (see Ponytail Instructions).
Roll the remaining hair with a 2nd Hare Do (see Double Bun Instructions).
Wrap this 2nd Bun around underside of the 1st Bun securing ends (see Ponytail Bun Instructions).
Tuck short, flyaway and droopy hair up underneath the Double Bun with Ponytail.
Optional:
Bobby pins, butterfly clips and hair pins clasp uncontrollable hair.
Conceal the bobby pins by sliding up underneath the Double Bun with Ponytail.
Tips:
If unrolled hair stick out under the Buns tuck and push them up underneath the Double Bun with Ponytail.
Reposition the bows on top of the Double Bun with Ponytail.
Tips:
Hair spray or styling gel works great for a final touch.
