Ponytail Spiral Instructions
The following steps will take you through the process of a Ponytail Spiral using Hare Do.
Misting the Hair
Mist the hair with water, apply more to the ends.
Comb the hair smooth.
Extend the Hare Do lengthwise and slide the excess fabric to (one end only) forming a flower.
Tips:
When first practicing bobby pins help eliminate droops and sags along the sides.
Always pin layers and flyaway hair.
Tie in a Loose Knot
Tie the Hare Do in a loose knot (about 10") from the excess fabric end.
Form a Ponytail
Form a ponytail with your hands and secure using an elastic band.
Pull Ponytail through Knot
Begin pulling the ponytail through the center of the loose knot you previous made.
Stop at Scalp
Slide the Hare Do all the way and STOP when you reach the scalp of your head.
Pull Hare Do Ends Outward
At the scalp begin pulling on both ends of the Hare Do in an outward motion.
Pull Snugly
Stop pulling on both ends of the Hare Do when you feel it snuggly knotted around the ponytail.
Extend Rosette End
Extend the flowered end of the Hare Do straight above your head.
Coil Flowered End
Start coiling the flowered end in a tight circle towards your head.
Keep Coiling
Keep coiling the flowered end in a tight circle towards the top of your ponytail.
STOP at Ponytail
STOP when you reach the top of your ponytail.
Remember:
Reposition the flower end to resemble a beautiful rose on the top of your ponytail.
Start Wrapping Around Ponytail
Begin wrapping the other end of the Hare Do in a spiral around your ponytail.
Keep Wrapping
Keep wrapping the Hare Do in a spiral around your ponytail towards the end.
Keep Wrapping
Keep wrapping the Hare Do in a spiral around your ponytail towards the end.
Keep Wrapping Around Ponytail
Keep wrapping the Hare Do in a spiral around your ponytail towards the end.
Keep Wrapping Towards End
Keep wrapping the Hare Do in a spiral around your ponytail towards the end.
STOP at the end of the Hare Do.
Stretch to Straighten
Place one hand on your scalp while the other pulls the Hare Do outward towards the tip of your ponytail.
Keep Stretching to Straighten
Keep pulling the Hare Do outwards toward the tip of your ponytail.
Amazing!
This forms a candy cane effect around your ponytail
Reposition the Bow
Reposition the flower end of the Hare Do on the top of the ponytail.
Your Done!
Congratulations you have now created the Ponytail Spiral!
