Ponytail Bun with Release Instructions
The following steps will take you through the process of a Ponytail Bun with Release using Hare Do.
Mist the hair with water
Mist the hair with water, apply more to the ends.
Comb the hair smooth.
Tip:
When first practicing bobby pins help eliminate droops and sags along the sides.
Always pin layers and flyaway hair.
Slide Hare Do Underneath Hair
Extend the Hare Do lengthwise and slide the excess fabric (equally) to both ends forming rosettes.
Section 1st Portion of Hair
Section the 1st portion of your hair straight across 1" above the top of both ears.
Form a Ponytail
Form a ponytail using an elastic band.
Clip Ponytail to Secure
Secure the ponytail on top of your head with a plastic hair clip.
Section 2nd Portion of Hair
Section a 2nd portion of your hair straight across the top of both ears and roll a bun (see Bun Instructions).
Drop Ponytail
Release and drop the ponytail on top of your rolled hair.
Wrap both ends of the Hare Do around ponytail securing the ends (see Ponytail Instructions).
Wrap Around the Ponytail
Wrap the Ponytail Bun around the ponytail securing ends (see Ponytail Instructions).
Tuck Short-Flyaway Hair
Tuck short, flyaway and droopy hair up underneath the Ponytail Bun with Release.
Optional:
Bobby pins, butterfly clips and hair pins clasp uncontrollable hair.
Conceal the bobby pins by sliding up underneath the Ponytail Bun with Release.
Tip:
If unrolled hair stick out under the Ponytail Buns tuck and push them up underneath the Ponytail Bun with Release
Reposition the Bow
Reposition the bow on top of the Ponytail Bun with Release.
Tip:
Hair spray or styling gel works great for a final touch.
